Sociology trip to MMU

Recently our students went on a Sociology trip to Manchester Metropolitan University.

The aim of the day was to allow RSFC students to experience what university is like before having to make decisions about where to apply after college. Throughout the day they saw every side of university life: a Sociology lecture, an example seminar, a campus tour, a Q&A session with some current students, and best of all a free lunch!

Experiences like this aren’t available to all college students outside of Open Days where there will be thousands of people fighting for space and attention. We are lucky to have had this opportunity, and the students have had their eyes opened a little about how education works after RSFC.
