The recent trip to New York City was a culturally enriching experience for the students. By staying in the heart of Times Square, they had the perfect base to explore all that the city has to offer.

A highlight of the trip was seeing "The Play That Goes Wrong" in an intimate off-Broadway setting. Students also visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum, where the solemn atmosphere and powerful exhibits provided deep insights into the events that have shaped our modern world.

The group also explored the American Museum of Natural History, encountering a variety of fascinating exhibits. They visited the Empire State Building for amazing views of the city skyline, and enjoyed a ferry tour to Ellis Island, where they saw the iconic Statue of Liberty up close and learned about the history of immigration to the United States.

Despite taking advantage of the subway system, students walked a remarkable 36 miles over the four-day trip. They explored the financial district of Wall Street, strolled through the peaceful landscapes of Central Park, and admired the unique views of the city from the High Line. On the final day, they walked across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, enjoying spectacular views of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Students also had some free time for shopping along 6th Avenue and had a blast ice skating at Rockefeller Center.

Overall, the trip provided a wonderful blend of education, exploration, and entertainment, leaving the students with unforgettable memories of their time in New York City.
