Enrichment

There is more to life at RSFC than just gaining your qualifications. We want you to achieve your potential in and out of the classroom. That’s why all students at RSFC complement their academic studies by taking part in our extensive enrichment programme. Enrichment teaches you new skills and builds on your existing subject knowledge to make you stand out from the crowd when applying for university or employment.

Enrichment teaches you new skills and builds on your existing subject knowledge to make you stand out from the crowd when applying for university, apprenticeship or employment. The enrichment programme runs for 20 weeks, split into two 10 week terms. Term 1 runs from September to December and Term 2 from January to March.

In Term 1, you will choose from either the Pre-Graduate or Pre-Professional pathway. In Term 2, you can choose a different Pre-Graduate or Pre-Professional pathway, or choose an activity from the Wider Skills programme. There are a number of enrichment activities which fall outside the normal programme, such as the college musical or Duke of Edinburgh, and these are explained throughout the booklet. You will be given the opportunity to visit an enrichment fair on your Induction Day and get a taste of what all the different enrichment options are. Here you will be able to ask questions and decide which option you would like to do.
