Learning Support Officer

Rochdale Sixth Form college opened in 2010 with the ambition to inspire post-16 learners from our diverse local community and raise their aspirations. The College has been incredibly successful at doing this and our students regularly achieve some of the best results in the country, frequently being placed at the top of the Department for Education’s performance tables for progress.

We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate Learning Support Officer.

Overall Purpose of the Post:
• To implement agreed learning support with individuals/groups and support teaching staff in the learning and development of students.

The actual salary for this role, term time plus 1 week is £16,957-£18,870 per annum.

IT Technician

We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate It Technician.

Overall Purpose of the Post:
• To be responsible for maintaining Trust-wide IT infrastructure and supporting all aspects of teaching and learning, operational requirements, and administrative support, across identified academies within the Trust.
• To support the development of technology for teaching, learning, communication, and administrative functions.
• To work collaboratively with all staff and parents/carers to support student well-being and promote the values of the Trust and each academy.
• To assist the Trust Head of IT and the IT Technician Team to provide high-level support to all sites across the Multi Academy Trust, and act as the escalation point of contact for on-site Technicians at assigned sites.
• Under the direction of the Trust Head of IT, support the installation, maintenance, availability and security of the Trust-wide network, hardware, and software.

Estates Manager

We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate Estates Manager.

Overall Purpose of the Post:

• To undertake the effective leadership of the estate including maintenance, security, cleaning and waste disposal.
• Devise and implement appropriate polices relating to estates management and develop existing estates policies
• Be the nominated Health and Safety Officer for the College and develop relevant and appropriate systems to maintain the welfare of students, staff and visitors, and minimise risk.
• To manage, develop and operate all aspects of the estate’s operational management information systems function.

• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the college, assessed through cleaning audits.
• To act as a key member of the college Estates team.
• To be a smart, approachable and enthusiastic team member.

Salary: The post will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges Support pay spine; scale point 1 currently £17,372 per annum. This is topped to the Real Living Wage of £18,327 per annum pro rata.
The actual salary for this role Term Time Only plus 2 weeks, 16 hours per week (41 weeks per year) is £7,198 per annum
