Think like a Linguist

Today, we hosted the third session of the Think Like a Linguist project, welcoming a cohort of year 8 students from seven different secondary schools. The session took place at RSFC, marking another milestone in our ongoing collaboration with The Queen’s College, Oxford, The Stephen Spender Trust, and the AVECC collaboration.

Throughout the day, students delved into the intricacies of translation, exploring cultural contexts and variations in phraseology.

Our next session will focus on the practical application of language learning within commercial and industrial contexts, as well as the progression routes to universities and elite institutions.
