RSFC Student Performs Tabla Duet for King Charles III in Bradford

During King Charles’s recent visit to Bradford for the Bradford Council inauguration, RSFC student Kayam Hussain had the distinguished honour of performing a tabla duet alongside his father in the presence of His Majesty. The performance, which showcased traditional Indian classical music, was met with appreciation from the King, who demonstrated an understanding and genuine enjoyment of the art form.

The event also included the unveiling of the council’s new company name by His Majesty, followed by a reception featuring traditional Pakistani cuisine. This remarkable experience provided a memorable cultural exchange and highlighted the significance of musical heritage at a prestigious civic occasion.
