Balancing the Equation – Inspiring Future Mathematicians Event

A group of 10 of our students visited the Alvarez & Marsal offices in Manchester to take part in the Balancing the Equation event — a day dedicated to empowering girls to pursue A level Maths and explore the dynamic careers it can unlock.

The day was packed with engaging talks, eye-opening discussions, and real-world insights into how maths plays a vital role across industries. Hosted in a professional setting, the event gave students a glimpse into life beyond the classroom and helped them see Maths as a powerful, creative tool.

Throughout the day, students engaged in workshops, Q&A panels, and networking activities, gaining inspiration not just from the speakers, but from each other.
