Students Shine at FAB Arts Festival
Students recently took part in the FAB Arts Festival, a new initiative celebrating their creativity and artistic talent.
Four Art and Graphics students were selected to contribute to a mural on Yorkshire Street (at the former M&S building) as part of the Common Walls Festival. Students Evon Gray, Brooke Tyrer, Rachel Coupe and Ali Mohammed played an active role in both the design and creation of the final piece, supported and mentored by artist Hayley Garner.
In addition, Aizah Khan, Evon Gray and Lydia Greenwood were chosen to exhibit in Good Shout at Ebor Studio, showcasing work across Photography, Music and Textile Art alongside professional artists.
Students also participated in the Teenage Marketplace at Rochdale Town Hall, selling work created during enrichment sessions to raise money for charity. The event highlighted creativity and enterprise, with Art and Graphics students managing the stall and proudly promoting their peers’ work.
