Students Receive University of Manchester Social Sciences Enrichment Certificates
Students recently received certificates from the University of Manchester after completing our third annual social sciences enrichment course.
Throughout the programme, lecturers and professors from the university delivered sessions based on university-level content and current research. This year's theme focused on race and belonging, with students exploring topics including the removal of monuments linked to racism and slavery, how concepts of race and ethnicity vary across different societies, and the ways national symbols can shape ideas about borders, identity and belonging.
The certificates recognise students' engagement with the programme and may be considered by the University of Manchester's social sciences departments should students choose to apply there.
We would like to thank the University of Manchester staff for their support and look forward to continuing this successful partnership next year.
