Stacey Shearman

Student Performance Development Leader

Stacey Shearman

Stacey went to Oldham Sixth Form College and Leeds University with the aim of becoming a Primary School Teacher; after volunteering in several schools and junior sports teams she changed her focus to becoming a Secondary School PE Teacher. Stacey started her career working at Royton and Crompton School in Oldham as a PE Teacher, later progressing to becoming a Head of Year alongside teaching her favourite subject.  It was through her role as a Head of Year that she began to fully understand the needs of the young people she was working with and that led her to move to her current role as Student Progress and Development Leader (SPDL) at Rochdale Sixth Form College in 2021. Stacey is looking forward to working closely with the students and helping them to develop both their knowledge and as a whole person. In her free time, Stacey shares her time between her three main passions: her young son, fitness, and travel.
